A bicycle used at night must have a white light on the front that is visible from a distance of 500 feet, and a red reflector on the rear approved by the highway department, which must be visible from 600 feet when in front of a motor vehicle's lower beam headlamps. A red light that is visible from 500 feet can also be used in addition to the red reflector.
