(8) From 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise, a bicycle operator must have a white lamp on the front of their bicycle visible from at least 500 feet and a red lamp or reflector on the rear visible for at least 600 feet when directly in front of lawful beams of headlamps on a motor vehicle. A generator-powered lamp that only emits light when the bicycle is moving is acceptable.
(9) From 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise, each pedal of the bicycle must have a reflector or reflective material visible from the front and rear for 600 feet. Reflectors or reflective material must also be visible on each side of the bicycle or the operator for 600 feet when directly in front of lower beams of headlamps on a motor vehicle. The bicycle or operator may have additional lights/reflectors in addition to those required by clauses (8) and (9).
