At night, a bicycle must have a white front lamp visible from 300 feet away and a red reflector on the rear, visible from 300 feet away when in front of a motor vehicle's headlamps. The red reflector must be of an approved type. A red light that is visible from 300 feet away may be used in addition to the red reflector. For mopeds, one headlamp meeting RSA 266:31 specifications is required, along with taillamps and stop lamps.
